From market opportunity to running business. I open up new markets, set up dealer networks, supply chains and service, and I stay until it runs.

Where do you stand?

Dorner PI is a consultancy based in Graben-Neudorf, Germany, for manufacturers of technical products and components that sell through dealers or partners. Focus areas: market entry, building dealer networks and supply chains, and interim management. Most clients come to me in one of three situations.

Three services. One path.

You start where you are: with a single service, or all the way from the first market step to stable operations.

Many market entries end with the signature. Mine don’t.

It’s only done when the first dealer is supplied on time, service works and the systems keep pace.

Typical market entry consulting

Analysis → partner search → contract

Dorner PI adds

First delivery → replenishment → service and warranty → systems running

It’s done when it runs.

Not when the contract is signed or the concept has been presented.

The manufacturer’s view and the dealer’s view.

I have built and supplied dealer networks from the manufacturer’s side. I know what both sides need.

Tools, not slides.

Process analysis, supply chain concepts, digitalisation and automation, including AI, wherever they move your business forward.

About me

20 years on the manufacturer’s side. Now on yours.

At John Deere I brought more than 20 product lines to market, supplied dealer networks and introduced systems in several countries. That’s why I know where market entries fail: rarely because of the strategy, mostly because of partners, logistics and processes. That’s exactly where I come in.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers for companies that want to open up a market, build a business or hand over responsibility for a limited time.

Which companies do you work for?

Mainly manufacturers of technical products and components that sell through dealers or partners, such as agricultural and municipal machinery, power equipment or construction machinery. You work in a different industry and want to open up a market, build structures or fill a leadership role for a limited time? Talk to me anyway.

Yes. Each service can be booked on its own. Many clients start with 01 or 03 and then decide how to proceed.

A fixed price per module, and a day rate for interim management. The analysis workshop costs €1,490 excl. VAT online; on-site work is charged by effort. You know the cost up front.

Immediately. An intro call can be arranged at short notice and takes 30 minutes. I am available for interim assignments right away.

I come from the manufacturer’s side and don’t stop at the signature. It’s done when dealers are supplied and service and systems are running.

Let’s talk about your next market.

Let’s work out what it takes to turn your opportunity into running business. Call me directly: in the intro call we clarify your starting point, your goal and the right way in.
